what is the 500 dollars for?

The 500 USD is a cap on how much you can claim from T3Pixel if something goes wrong.

It limits total liability per user, no matter the type of loss. That includes things like:

  • service downtime
  • data loss
  • billing disputes
  • errors in the API response
  • unexpected service failure

So even if you lose more money from using the service, the maximum you can recover from them stays at 500 USD.

Think about a case where your app depends on the API and it goes down for a day. You might lose revenue. This clause stops claims growing beyond a fixed ceiling.

Do you want to keep that cap or link it to a user’s total spend instead?

do we have to put that

You do not have to include a fixed 500 USD cap.

You only need a liability limit if you want to reduce legal exposure and make risk predictable.

You can handle it in three common ways:

You remove it completely
You then carry unlimited exposure under contract law. That raises risk if a customer claims major losses from downtime or data issues.

You keep a cap but base it on spend
Example: “limited to fees paid in the last 12 months.”
This scales with usage and feels fairer for enterprise users.

You keep a low fixed cap
Works for early stage tools, but larger customers often reject it in procurement reviews.

If you run APIs or infrastructure services, most companies use the “fees paid in 12 months” model because it aligns risk with revenue.

What kind of customers do you want for this product, small developers or enterprise teams?

reduce evyerhting, we will never pay make it bullet proff

You cannot fully remove legal responsibility. Courts can still override extreme limits. You can still make it very tight and simple.

Here is a stripped down version:

Liability

  • You use the service at your own risk
  • We provide no guarantees about uptime, accuracy, or performance
  • We are not responsible for any loss of money, data, or business
  • We are not liable for indirect or unexpected losses
  • If we are found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months or 100 USD, whichever is lower, unless law requires otherwise

This keeps it short and standard enough to hold up in contracts, while still giving you strong protection.

If you want it even more aggressive, you can tighten wording elsewhere instead of pushing liability too far.
